Description

Our flagship launch is the Wajer Osprey 38. A spacious walk-in aft and a large three-person sundeck forward are two of the many unique features of this striking design. And behind the elegant, streamlined windscreen and striking wooden frame is a contemporary and exceptionally stylish interior.

Standard Equipment

Hull

• Polyester sandwich structure hull with spray rail, treated with an Awlgrip Polyurethane coating. Below the waterline, the hull is finished with ceramic epoxy and antifouling paint.

Engines and Electric systems

• Twin Volvo D4-301 / DP 310 hp / 3,500 rpm linked to the very latest Volvo IPS propulsion technology.
• Three 115-Amp dynamos for start batteries and service batteries.
• Fully electric steering gear and engine operation.
• Volvo interceptor system electronically operated from steering console.
• Set full traction start batteries Deta stationary cell structure 4 x 6V = 24 Volt 900 ampère.
• Set full traction service batteries 200 ampère, full discharge compliant.
• Wisper Power 3000w converter and charger.
• 1 electric bilge pumps with floating switch.
• 1 manual operated electrical bilge pump with switch in engine room.
• 1050-litre fuel tank with fuel gauge.

• Hot water fed by warm water maker connected to the engine and converter.

Layout

• Double bed in foreship.
• Toilet area in situated at starboard side with an electric toilet brand Jabsco connected to a black water tank.
• Washbasin with hot and cold running water situated in the toilet area.
• Galley with Corian top. Washbasin with hot running water and refrigerator with top lid.
• Central steering console. Adjustable steering chair type NorSap 1000 mounted on gas cushion.
• Two swivelling adjustable seats next to steering chair, type NorSap 800 mounted on gas cushion.
• Two couches amidships with storage space underneath.
• Dustbin to port and refrigerator with top lid to starboard in the cockpit.
• U-shaped settee in aft ship, an area that also serves as the sunbathe path
• Aft swimming platform finished with teak deck.
• Sunbathe path on the front covered with upholstery.

Detailing and finishing

• Two teak-clad hatches in foreship leading to storage spaces for anchor and mooring ropes.
• 1 x 11-inch folding cleat on foredeck and 2 x 8-inch folding cleats aft, 8 x folding fender eyes and waterski eye.
• Rounded teak foredeck and side decks.
• Heavy polyester covering board around the circumference of the vessel, sprayed in the colour of the deck.
• All floors and engine hatch are covered with teak.
• Stainless steel handrail on cabin top.
• Submerged boarding ladder on the stern.
• Hand shower in aft locker on stern aft.

Sprayhood and upholstery

• Soft-top/Bimini top with 316 stainless steel frame.
• Complete cover the enclose the cockpit.
• All cushions in cockpit are covered with Silverquard.

Equipment

• 6 x mooring ropes and 6 x fenders. Danfoss anchor with stainless steel chain, flags forward and aft.
• CE approved user’s manual.

Navigation facilities

• The Osprey is furnished with RAYMARINE onboard computer connected to a crystal-clear touch screen at the helm. All gauges and meters are digital. This equipment package includes satellite navigation facilities, battery monitoring, a log, a depth gauge, autopilot and a rudder angle indicator.
• The control screen monitors liquid levels in the fuel, water and black water tanks. All switches as navigation lighting and pump operate by a programmable sealed empibus controller. Combined with an elegant polychrome screen providing every conceivable type of information, these functions make the Osprey extremely simple and convenient to operate.
